Sophie is a trial lawyer who focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, employment disputes, and white collar and criminal defense. 

Sophie represents individuals and corporations in a wide range of matters, including RICO disputes, securities fraud class actions, government investigations, and patent litigation. She has worked on several high-stakes jury trials, most recently helping foreign plaintiffs secure victories in two international asset tracing and recovery litigations. In her pro bono practice, Sophie represents indigent clients at every stage of federal criminal proceedings.

During law school, Sophie interned in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. She was a board member and competitor of the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Center.  

Sophie is fluent in Spanish and Russian.
