Blake is a skilled advocate in high-stakes disputes. His focus is commercial and investor-state arbitration, business and insolvency litigation, and the enforcement of arbitral awards and foreign judgments.

Blake speaks Spanish and Russian and leverages those skills to assist clients in Latin America and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Blake has twice rejoined Boies Schiller Flexner after completing federal clerkships—first at the district-court level and then at the circuit court. Before clerking, Blake graduated from Georgetown University Law Center, where he received the CALI Award for Best Examination in Jury Trials and was a Global Law Scholar.

Prior to law school, Blake earned his master’s degree with distinction from the University of St Andrews, where he was awarded Best Dissertation in the School of International Relations for his work on the interplay between international and domestic criminal tribunals.
