On behalf of the YES Network, Boies Schiller Flexner contributed to a last-minute settlement with Comcast, agreeing on a deal to continue distribution of the regional sports network on the cable company.
Comcast had sought to place the YES Network on a more expensive premium tier, as it has previously done with nearly two dozen other regional sports networks around the country. Moving to the higher tier would have meant about an extra $20 per month for Comcast subscribers in the New York area to access the YES Network.
