Ted represents clients across the United States in highly complex family law cases. He has litigated the full spectrum of issues faced by people seeking relief in divorce or parenting actions, including custody, relocation, domestic violence allegations, distribution of assets and liabilities, alimony, child support, and attorney’s fees. He also drafts and negotiates prenuptial, postnuptial, and settlement agreements.

Ted was a member of the trial team in Perry v. Schwarzenegger, a civil rights action that invalidated California’s Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriage on federal constitutional grounds.

He has lectured on family law topics, including discovery, same-sex marriage and divorce, and active and passive appreciation of nonmarital assets.

He was a law clerk for the Honorable Michael Daly Hawkins, U. S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Due to privacy concerns, Ted does not publish the names of his current or former clients.
