Lindsey represents plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of practice areas, including complex commercial litigation, constitutional law, and white collar and criminal defense. She has advised clients at all stages of litigation, from precomplaint investigation through appeals, and she has worked on submissions to the Supreme Court. Her current matters include international asset recovery litigation, securities investigations and class actions, Chapter 15 adversary proceedings, First Amendment lawsuits, and cost-of-insurance class actions. She also maintains a robust pro bono practice and has represented survivors of sex trafficking and abuse, individuals and organizations seeking to uphold reproductive freedoms, and death row inmates asserting their constitutional rights.

Lindsey's recent experience includes:

  • Representing the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan, and BTA Bank in international asset recovery litigation stemming from the theft of billions of dollars by the former mayor of the city and chairman of the bank
  • Defending fraudulent transfer claims in Chapter 15 adversary proceedings brought by the trustee of Norske Skogindustrier, an insolvent Norwegian paper company
  • Defending a life insurance company in several class actions concerning the cost of insurance
  • Coordinating individual’s global defense strategy, including defending securities fraud class action in the Southern District of New York
  • Drafted Supreme Court amicus brief on behalf of more than 500 athletes regarding the constitutional right to abortion care
