Lauren represents clients in state and federal courts in a wide range of litigation matters, including complex civil litigation, contractual disputes, securities fraud, and employment disputes. Her practice spans a variety of industries, such as media and sports, real estate, finance, and insurance.
Lauren takes an active leadership role on her cases, including drafting and arguing motions, attending hearings, and running discovery. Most recently, she played a critical role in obtaining a $95 million settlement on behalf of a class of plaintiffs in a securities fraud class action against an international media company that allegedly paid bribes to FIFA to secure various World Cup rights. Additionally, she was part of a trial team that brought breach of contract, fraud, and negligence claims on behalf of a private equity company against an insurance broker, achieving a successful resolution for the client. Lauren also devotes a significant amount of time to pro bono matters, including recently drafting amicus briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court and Texas Supreme Court.
Lauren joined the firm following her two-year clerkship for the Hon. Amy Berman Jackson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Prior to her clerkship, Lauren was an associate in Los Angeles at a major law firm, where her practice primarily focused on labor and employment litigation.
