Attorneys from Boies, Schiller & Flexner’s Fort Lauderdale office have won Most Effective Lawyer Awards from the Daily Business Review, which are awarded to lawyers based in South Florida. Partners Stuart Singer and Carl Goldfarb won in the pro bono category, after a major decision last year in their long-running case on behalf of Florida children on Medicaid. Stuart, along with partners Sashi Bach and Carlos Sires, counsel Eli Glasser and David Nelson, and associate Will Snyder, won in the class action category, after a recent settlement for plaintiffs in the Anwar v. Fairfield Greenwich case.
Other Boies, Schiller & Flexner lawyers involved in the Florida Medicaid case include partners Sashi Bach and Damien Marshall, counsel Lauren Louis and Joshua Riley, and Associate Pascal Oliu. Others involved in the Anwar case include partner David Barrett, who is co-lead counsel with Stuart, partner Howard Vickery, and associate Karen Chesley.
