Partner Matt Schwartz has been named a "rising New York star" for 2017 by Crain's New York Business.
"Recruited to build his firm's global white-collar practice, Matthew L. Schwartz has in the past two years defneded the producers of The Wolf of Wall Street in a foreign corruption scandal, and settled a first-of-its-kind federal money-laundering case involving a virtual currency firm," the publication wrote. "His work at Boies Schiller is quite a change from his last job, as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, where he spent a decade leading blockbuster trials."
This is the 30th year that Crain's has published its 40 Under 40 list, which reflects the "centers of excitement in the city business community, and how we as New Yorkers define remarkable success."
