Partner Scott Gant says that questions about Ted Cruz's eligibility for presidential candidacy were predictable, based on the constitutional requirement that a U.S. President must be a natural born citizen. “All the people in state government who have to put Cruz on the ballot should in theory be asking themselves, `is he eligible?' If he actually became president, there is a 100% chance someone with standing will challenge," Gant told Forbes.
