Bloomberg reported that BSF has been retained as co-lead counsel in Overstock.com's lawsuit against Rocker Partners and others. In the case, Overstock.com alleges that statements and analysis about Overstock's business by Rocker Partners and Gradient Analytics (which publishes analyst reports) negatively affected Overstock's share price. David Shapiro, who heads up the firm's California office and is a former federal prosecutor who helped create the San Francisco US Attorney's Office first securities fraud unit will lead the case for BSF.
