On behalf of West Flagler Associates, BSF partner Hamish Hume argued to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit to uphold last year’s ruling by U.S. District Judge Dabney L. Friedrich. The original ruling found that the tribal-state gambling agreement, which included the right to conduct online sports betting, violated federal law by authorizing gambling outside Indian Country.
