U.S. Eleventh Circuit Judge Adalberto Jordan approved an amended settlement agreement that allocates hundreds of millions of additional dollars in state money each year to improve access to medical and dental care for the approximate 2 million Florida children on Medicaid.
Florida’s state obligations have now been extended through to 2030. The amended settlement concludes this long running pro bono case which started in 2005, and continued through a successful trial that lasted more than 90 days and a settlement in 2016.
BSF attorneys Stuart Singer, Carl Goldfarb, Sashi Bach, and Pascual Oliu represent the millions of Florida children.
