New Partner Will Focus on Regulatory, Appellate, and Antitrust Litigation
Boies Schiller Flexner LLP announced today that David Lehn has joined the firm’s Washington, D.C., office as a partner. His practice will focus on regulatory and appellate matters. He brings particular knowledge in environmental, energy, antitrust, and constitutional law.
“I was drawn to Boies Schiller by, among other things, its many elite litigators and its well-deserved reputation for guiding clients through the toughest disputes,” said David. “I’m also excited to help expand the firm’s regulatory and appellate practice areas.”
After nearly 20 years of practice, David has extensive litigation experience in the U.S. Supreme Court, as well as nearly every federal circuit court of appeals. He frequently handles matters involving proposed and final agency actions on diverse subjects, including the environment, energy, banking, financial instruments, and patents. He has handled cutting-edge antitrust matters and cases raising myriad constitutional questions.
“David brings a deep knowledge of the law and a proven ability to apply that knowledge to the circumstances of each client and case,” said Jesse Panuccio, partner and co-head of Boies Schiller’s appellate practice. “David’s appellate, regulatory, and constitutional experience is a perfect fit as we continue to grow our appellate practice and the D.C. office. I’ve known David for many years, and I am excited to work with him.”
David previously served in the Office of Legal Counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice, where he provided legal advice to the White House and federal agencies on various statutory and constitutional issues. David also clerked for the Hon. Douglas H. Ginsburg on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Most recently David worked in the Washington, D.C., office of an international law firm.
“We are thrilled to welcome David to the firm,” said Managing Partners Sigrid McCawley, Matthew L. Schwartz, and Alan Vickery. “We continue to see increased demand for high-quality, court-ready lawyers who possess a deep understanding of the law and are eager to help our clients address complicated legal questions. David combines those skills with significant advisory and litigation experience. He’s a great fit for the firm and our clients.”
