On August 4, 2010, salesforce.com reached settlement in their patent infringement dispute with Microsoft. Boies, Schiller & Flexner was retained by salesforce.com after Microsoft filed suit against the San Francisco start-up in Federal Court in Seattle asserting that salesforce.com had violated nine of Microsoft’s patents.
In June 2010, BSF filed a patent infringement suit on behalf of salesforce.com against Microsoft in Federal Court in Delaware asserting that several of Microsoft’s products were infringing upon salesforce.com’s patents.
