Boies Schiller Flexner has named Max Pritt and Sean Rodriguez as Administrative Partners for its San Francisco office.
Max Pritt tries high-stakes cases for plaintiffs and defendants in courtrooms across the country. Max has secured significant victories for his clients in antitrust and unfair competition, trade secret, copyright, class action, securities, cannabis, civil rights, and other disputes, including a complete defense verdict for a major technology company in a billion-dollar antitrust class action after his discovery midtrial that the class representatives lacked standing. Max has also litigated issues of first impression, from the disposition of frozen embryos after separation or divorce to the recognition of marriage equality as a fundamental right under the Equal Protection Clause. He is Chair of the Bay Area Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society and sits on the Judicial Council of California and also recently served on the Judicial Nominees Evaluation Commission of the California State Bar, which vets the governor’s potential judicial candidates.
Sean Rodriguez practices primarily in complex commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on antitrust, intellectual property, technology, and finance. He is currently litigating against Google in two consumer privacy class actions, and he is actively involved in representing multiple clients in connection with various state, national, and international investigations of Google’s anticompetitive practices. He was a leading member of the team representing a U.S. maker of solar panels in successful litigation with a major electric utility, and he represented hundreds of thousands of workers in a wage-fixing class action that resulted in 2019 in one of the largest wage recoveries in years. He is a regular speaker on class action matters.
